- See a movie at the Rooftop Cinema Club
- Hang out in the Texas shaped pool at Marriott Marquis Houston (awesome downtown skyline views here!)
- Go to a concert or see the Rockets play at the Toyota Center
- Check out the Houston Rodeo at NRG Stadium in March. They always have a good variety of performers.
- Cheer on the Texans at NRG Stadium
- See a broadway play at The Hobby Center
- Check out Discovery Green downtown
- See an Astros game or concert at Minute Maid Park
- Play indoor golf at Loft18
- Go bowling at Bowl & Barrel or Lucky Strike
- Visit the Houston Zoo. During the holidays, check out the Zoo Lights! This year they are running this event November 23 – January 12, 2020.
- See a concert at White Oak Music Hall
- Rent bikes and explore the city whenever and however you’d like!
- Don’t miss White Linen Night in the Heights! First Saturday in August

Great Views:
- Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co (this could also fall under places to eat, but there is an awesome view of downtown from the 3rd floor in the brewery!)
- Buffalo Bayou Park also shows a great skyline view of downtown. Map to Houston Police Officers’ Memorial – this is a great area to walk your dog, ride your bike, or go for a run.
